Since children may be present, clothing is probably not quite optional, but no tux or evening gown is required. We’re going “country wedding,” complete with hay bales, so even though the bride (and groom) may play dress up, don’t spend too much time or money planning your attire. We hope the reception will resemble a Fourth of July barbecue (without the fireworks or, if you’re from Seattle, the rain), so dress for a mess and for dancing and karaoke afterwards.
